Direct Routing refers to connecting Microsoft Teams to the PSTN (traditional phone) network. Although Teams is often used as an internal collaboration tool, Microsoft has developed a way for the platform to be used as a business phone system.

We connect your Teams users to the PSTN by implementing a Microsoft-Certified Session Boarder Controller (SBC) within Digitcom’s resilient cloud-based network, where we aggregate several Class 1 carriers. This is then connected to the PSTN network, allowing seamless calling between Teams and the traditional telephone network.

Migration is quick and straightforward. In collaboration with your IT team, we take care of the set-up for you, connecting your existing infrastructure to our cloud network and managing the connections.

You can access any desktop or mobile device with internet connectivity with the Microsoft Teams app installed.

With the appropriate Microsoft Office 365 subscription and Business Voice License add-on, you are ready to go!
